This pad is mounted on top of the existing start block (screwed). The SWR2 has a special surface which is indestructible and prevent from sliding. This pad must be adapted to the existing block.

Functions:

Detection : swimmer’s start detection when the false start pad is moving back on the sensor (located at the back of the pad)
